Story

In North part of Japan, the myth of God of the Wind has been passed down as the oral tradition.

On the first day of the second semester, the new student came to the school. His name is Saburo. He has red hair and he wore strange clothes.
He was mysterious, so other students dreaded him, but they graduately became friendly.
A few days later, they went to play with horses. One horse ran away from there. One boy chased the horse, and he saw the Saburo with glass shoes and mantle, then Saburo flied away to the sky. The boy thought Saburo is the child of the God of the Wind.

The next day, they heard a news that Saburo left the school.
Then, they convinced that Saburo is "ODYSSEY of Wind".

3rd Project of "Kenji Miyazawa" Series

This is the 3rd project of the trilogy of “Kenji Miyazawa” Series by Hiroshi Koike Bridge Project. We have been producing the productions which the motif is “Nature and Human”, and “The Dead and the Living”. “ODYSSEY of Wind” is very graphic piece. It makes the audience feel the overwhelming power of Nature. The Odyssey doesn’t appear in the real fairy tale, but it is the traditional God of the wind. The children frighten the God of the Wind, and touch the other world through the strange transfer student.

“ODYSSEY of the Wind” is the piece which focus on the relationship between Human and The Other World.
