2-Day Workshop: Exploring the Possibilities of the Body (Workshop is conducted in Japanese)

This workshop is designed not only for those interested in performing arts and physical expression, but also for anyone curious about exploring the potential of the body itself. Led by director Hiroshi Koike, participants will engage in his original processes—such as Slow Movement, a practice he has been developing for decades—to carefully experience the connection between body and thought.

On the second day, there will be a presentation of participants’ work, along with behind-the-scenes stories from Koike’s international co-productions. Having created over 100 stage works, including the milestone production HINOTORI Phoenix of Sea, Koike invites you to step beyond borders and genres into new realms of expression.
