Support for the Hiroshi Koike Bridge Project In 2020, our Hiroshi Koike Bridge Project also faced the impact of COVID-19. Funding, which was already limited, suffered a severe blow due to the pandemic, and the state of emergency led to the temporary closure of rental studios.

Workshops and summer camps were also halted, and all our planned activities came to a standstill, forcing us to apply for emergency grants and subsidies to survive.

In these challenging times, we are more convinced than ever that art can be a beacon of hope for the future.

We aim to explore new forms of expression beyond traditional stage productions and continue to seek ways to engage in artistic activities during this ‘Corona’ era. However, since grant and subsidy applications are irregular and uncertain, they cannot adequately cover our funding shortages.

In these times of confinement, we believe it is our mission to use the power of art to bring harmony and enrichment to society and to show the way toward a world full of possibilities.
