I Love You. And I Hate You.

Seven dreams reveal the deepest layers of a man and a woman’s hearts. Love that fails to reach the other, jealousy, sorrow. Borrowing the framework of Natsume Sōseki’s Ten Nights of Dreams, this poetic story explores the subtle emotions of Bhima, the ancient Indian hero, and Draupadi, the beautiful heroine.

A spin-off of Hiroshi Koike’s internationally acclaimed project Complete Mahabharata, the work unfolds through seven dreams that the two characters share. In these dreamscapes, the hidden forms of their love and hatred slowly emerge, taking on a fantastical, haunting beauty.
