OCC — ODYSSEY CREATIVE CENTER

A place where thinking and practice
are updated simultaneously.
Opening July 2026, Kiba, Tokyo.
OCC is a new art complex conceived by director KOIKE Hiroshi, arrived at after 44 years of creative activities spanning over 40 countries. From Pappa TARAHUMARA (1982–2012) to the KOIKE Hiroshi Bridge Project (2012–)——a journey defined by crossing borders, colliding and harmonizing different cultures, bodies, and genres——and now, the next step beyond.
In July 2026, a physical base opens in Kiba, Tokyo.
OCC is not a conventional rental studio or theater. It is a high-intensity art complex — a place where thought and practice are continuously renewed together — from which artists embark on an “irreversible voyage” of no return.
